Just a warning not to apply for the Sephora credit card thinking that you will get the 25% discount on top of the sale going on right now. It tells you you can use the temporary card for up to 500 but when you go to pay tells you it can’t be used for security reasons. So at the end of applying for the CC, you won’t get to use it AND you won’t get the discount (and now you have a useless hard inquiry on your history). 

I know specific store credit cards are scammy but the fact that you’re not allowed to use it towards the purchase you initially signed up to get the discount for is ridiculous. Read other posts on here and you’ll see it’s common and Sephora customer service does not care. 

AND now I’m getting error messages on my post.

Same thing happened to me! & now I can’t even use the card at all… says for security reasons 🙄

I'm sorry, the Savings Event discount cannot be stacked with any other promotions or discounts, including the Sephora Credit Card First Purchase Discount. However, you can save your First Purchase Discount and use it after the Savings Event has ended if you'd like. Just be sure to use it within 30 days before it expires. Hi @havok0614 I'm so sorry about this! Your physical card should arrive within 10 days of being approved and you should still be able to use your discount once it arrives!
