Credit Card not working online

I am trying to purchase some Christmas presents from the Sephora app but each time I go to to check out I get the attached error message telling me the payment info is wrong. I have meticulously gone over every single number and made sure it was entered accurately, and called my CC company to confirm that my card was working properly. They confirmed that it is an issue on the side of the merchant but I am not sure how o resolve this issue. I have also tried using the mobile (safari) online version and the Google chrome desktop version of the website still with no avail. Any tips would be would be greatly appreciated!

Same thing is happening to me! My card has been activated, yet it won’t work online! This is ridiculous!

Can you just post the solution? This has been happening for years and lots of people have the problem.

I have tried using my card so many times and I get this message as well! I’m so frustrated.

They keep saying it's my bank, but it's not. There's obviously a technical problem since it's happening to a lot of us. I'm about to Uninstall the app & buy elsewhere since Sephora doesn't seem to care to fix the issue.

Yes, same thing happening to me. Tried different cc's to no avail. I ordered about a week ago & everything worked fine. Sephora needs to FIX THIS ISSUE!!

Exactly, I ordered just 2 weeks prior, same cc, nothing different, everything worked fine!! Now all of a sudden no cc works & it's a "financial institution problem" ... shi**ty customer service on this issue & really annoying with Xmas just around the corner!

Still not working. I've checked & double checked all my cc info & banking institution info & everything is correct. I placed an order Nov 21, same cc, same info, same everything & order was processed & delivered.
