Continuing sample trouble

Dear Sephora,

Will you please stop asking customers to choose samples if we rarely receive what we've ordered? Yes, I know that you run out of samples--but 2 of the 3 samples that I requested with my order are still listed on your website today (and I received my order yesterday). So other than an "I don't care" attitude, I don't understand the issue. Instead I got random stuff that just went into the garbage. You'd disappoint fewer customers if you did away with "selecting" and just tossed in what you want--which seems to be what goes on most times anyway.
