I usually love going to the Sephora at Newport in Jersey City. Everyone who works there is super amazing and nice. However, there is this one Indian middle-aged woman who works there and she kept looking at me and following me around. She then goes on to single me out and discuss the return policy at length, which was updated a more than three months back, and I did not see her doing that to anyone else. She was patronizing and condescending. I’m an attorney and am not illiterate to not understand how these things works. I also was there a week prior and was looking for texturizing spray and it clearly said this was in located in the store and she didn’t really make an effort to look into it. I ended up buying it online. Someone like her makes the experience really bad and it’s a shame. She shouldn’t be working in the front. Sephora prides themselves on customer service and it is really great, but there are people like her who make it a negative experience.
