I have a worst experience with Sephora’s store visit and customer service. Never recommend anyone. They really don’t know how to talk to customer. I bought Nars foundation and lost my receipt. When I purchased I never gave my information or phone number and just pay cash. All I ask to exchange because the I bought is not good match. It was first time I went to that location and they were accusing me to say you were here last week too and we told you that we are not going to exchange. I also called customer service and they said the same thing. Go get a receipt and hang up. I can’t believe and accept this kind of behavior from the company.never ever going back and recommending anyone.

@Orangeflower1 I’m sorry you had a bad experience. As a Sephora employee we always ask if you have an account with us before making a purchase.  If you have an account-email or phone number your purchases get tied to your account whether you have the receipt or packaging with you. This allows us to look at your previous purchases. 

If you don’t have a receipt and account we can’t exchange or return the item because we don’t know where or when it was purchased.  We see many clients in a day and can’t remember everyone that comes in.
