Closing my account for good after Sephora's horrible customer service

I have been shopping at Sephora for over a decade without any issues. After saving up for years I finally ordered myself a Dyson Airwrap. I was so excited to get my order, so imagine my shock when I open the box and its not in there. I noticed the box was super light when I went to pick it up from my porch but never would I have thought they would forget to pack the biggest part of my order.

 

I called customer service and they said sorry the package is weighed once its received by the shipper and your package weighed 3lbs with the Dyson weighing 1.8lbs, so it was in the order. The Dyson Airwrap with the box and attachments weighs at least 8lbs. Therefore, based on their process, the Dyson was never included in my package. Now they refuse to help me whatsoever and I'm out over $1000 and nothing to show for it.

 

On top of this, I'm told I will no longer be accommodated moving forward. Fantastic way of telling your customers you don't want them anymore. Once I receive the last of my orders I will be closing my account and never shopping at Sephora again. Time to buy from brands directly. I know it makes no difference to Sephora but now you know what they really think of their customers.
