Christmas Orders

According to the Holiday Shipping Details, all 3-Day Shipping orders placed by 12.20.17 at 3pm PST would arrive by Christmas Eve, however, both of my orders placed on 12.18.17 3pm PST are showing an ETA of December 27th. Am I missing something or does this mean that these shipments won't arrive by Christmas Eve?
