Cheap delivery service

I had 4 different packages that were supposed to be delivered. Sephora uses OnTrac for package deliveries. My package was never delivered. I have a Ring doorbell and no one had showed up but it says package was delivered at front door. I chatted with an online Sephora rep and she was quick to refund my money.  That shows that Sephora is aware of OnTrac's terrible delivery that's why I was refunded asap!  So my question is why does Sephora, a company that carries such ridiculously expensive products, uses a cheap delivery company like OnTrac. OnTrac has negative ratings on Better Business Bureau website yet Sephora continues to use them as their carrier but why?!  If you are charging hefty prices, a reliable delivery carrier would be ideal.  People work hard to afford such expensive products.  Stop ripping them off!
