Charged for the same product twice

I realized after getting home that a cashier accidentally scanned a set of tweezers twice. I had to catch my train, so even though something seemed off, I didn't see the receipt until I got on the train. I'm wondering if i'll have to go back in person to get this fixed, or if it'll be possible to do it over phone. And if I do have to go in person, could I do it at a different store?
