Card fraud

I have been contacting Sephora customer service through the phone since Friday about a charge of lime $800 on my card through American Express. I have two addresses in my account one is my business place and my other one is my apartment building. The latter is the one which I usually only use if I’m gonna be at home 24/7 because packages are stolen all the time at my place. Somebody hacked my PayPal account and the email I used for it and the account is linked to my apartment building address. I didn’t know anything about it until American Express sent me an email saying I was like $300 over my limit. I explained all of this to three different reps. American Express told me to go through you guys first and I was told I would get help within 48 hours. I haven’t gotten anything not a call not an email . I’m at my wits end because my card is over the limit and I don’t have the money to pay for it I’m desperate I can’t reach anybody to help me out I contacted PayPal and also changed my email attached to it I even told Sephora to flag my address if necessary I’ll do my purchases directly at the store I feel like I’m gonna have to fight it with Amex at this point cause I can’t get an answer or investigation ? Please help me
