Cancelled subscription, but charged anyway

I cancelled my subscription when I got the email that it was going to be renewed. When I cancelled it, I got the "We're sad to see you go" email and my account also reflects that it was cancelled. However, I received the charge for it anyway. Since I got the confirmation that it was cancelled and my account shows that I don't have the subscription anymore, can I be refunded? I no longer want this subscription, which is why I cancelled it. Especially considering I received confirmation of the cancellation AND my account shows that I don't have it anymore.
