Canada Post Strike

I placed an order thinking Sephora would have by now change carriers for deliveries especially in city areas that have multiple different option.  Nope. Received a CanPost tracking number and my order is now at a warehouse.  Contact customer service through the Chat and since the shipment is shown as being delivered today (Dec 12, 2024) I have been told I have to wait until the end of day before Sephora will do anything.  Like what kind of BS is this? It's a strike, not a coffee break. AND to have the customer service ppl repeat the same crap over and over:

 

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel the order at the moment since the tracking has an estimated delivery date of 12/12/2024. Please allow until end of day for delivery. If order is not delivered by end of day, we will be more than happy to assist you with a refund request for your missing order. (this message was sent to me about 7 different times in the chat!)

 

Like why wait? The strike is not going to end by tomorrow. Just refund my money. And to say:

 

I am sorry that we were unable to better assist you today. Is there anything else I may help you with today?

 

Sephora, I expected a lot better from you. It's disgusting that you're taking our money, not delivering our products, and then not offering a refund when it is clear the package will not arrive.
