Can’t checkout using gift card

Need help! Have been unable to checkout on the app and on the website. Trying to use gift cards that are valid, the total is applied, but then error message comes up and says “we are having trouble accepting gift cards, PayPal” and other payment options and for me to try another payment. This has been a problem for weeks.

I had this problem all of Nov after the 10th resulting in me losing my bday reward. I had same issue entire month of December and called customer service to be told to try again in 48hrs, did that and no luck. Called again and they suggested I delete app and reinstall which didn’t work and they couldn’t process order because I didn’t have physical gift card that was showing up in my cart. I was instructed to remove gift card to maybe get order to go through which I did and still had cart error then the gift card removed from my account permanently.

 

All in all, I missed out on bday reward, lost my $40 gift card forever because their site won’t store them, my order never would go through resulting in me losing VIP status because order minimum of a whole $22.00 was not met due to order not being able to process. I’ve lost all patience with Sephora so I’ll be ordering from Ulta and/ or directly from skin and cosmetic companies.
