Can't Checkout

Hi.

I have 10 things in my basket, and I haven't been able to checkout. When I click the checkout button, nothing happens. Yet, I keep receiving emails saying that "You have an item in your basket" almost every day! How annoying. I don't want to call a customer support. I mean what's the point of online shopping? I've read the posts of the other people and responses. I cleared histories and deleted cookies.It's frustrating because this is the only online site that doesn't let me pay for the items.

So i think i might have found out why I couldn't checkout... I had my 'birthday gift' in my basket (which has been there for a long time, I didn't just add it) and I had a feeling to remove it to see what would happened - removed it and now I can finally checkout!

So instead of a normal website where you'd get a red pop up to remove something before you can complete your checkout, Sephora's site doesn't do anything and you have to figure it out on your own 😞 

So if you run into the issue of hitting the checkout button and nothing happens, try removing some of the samples/freebies and see what happens!

Thank you for sharing a possible solution to the problem. You were much more helpful than Sephora customer service. I now believe that I had the same issue, but no, Sephora customer service people just repeated the same thing below. This didn't solve anything and just wasted my time which I don't have. I mean that's the reason why I'm shopping online! Anyway, I gave up on Sephora for good because of this. Unusable and customer unfriendly website, and unhelpful customer service. I could purchase everything I wanted from other stores like Ulta, Make Up Forever, and Clinique. I felt stupid to be spending every night trying to check out items. I could do it so easily with other online shops. Their website was easy and fast. When I had a question, Ulta customer service responded so fast! Sephora people took forever to respond with unhelpful information.

 

1. Close out of your current screen on your device, clear browser history, delete temporary internet files, clear cache and log into www.sephora.com.
2. Log into your Beauty Insider account by clicking on 'Sign In' in the top left corner.
3. Update your password under 'My Information'.
4. Verify the products availability.
4. Click on Checkout and provide correct shipping and billing information to submit the order.

Thank you for the response, but it's too late. I purchased everything from Ulta, Make Up Forever, and Clinique. Their websites are much user/customer friendly. I'm not in need of help at this moment. Your IT department needs help. There is something really wrong with your website.

Same thing has been happening to me and i cant find a solution! I have cleared everything I've even used different devices both on and off WIFI. This is frustrating 😞
