Can I Return a Foundation That Came With No Lid?

I recently bought the Dior face and body foundation. When I opened up the box to use it, I realized it came without a lid. Can I return it like this? I still have the box, just obviously there's no lid. I'm pretty upset this foundation was so expensive and it came like this 😕
