Bought something in store and now cannot return online

I bought some items in store as I was going through Billings Montana. I live 125 miles + away. The item in question the formula has changed and it is not good. I would like to return these by mail.  When I bought these, the woman looked me up by my email. But it is not showing in my orders even though I have the receipt.  How can I get these returned without having to drive over 250 miles round-trip for $30 item?

I will never buy in store again.  Trying to sort through all the return policies between Mail order, sephora.com stores, and Sephora stores in Kohl’s, is ridiculous.  If what I’m reading is right, I might be able to return it by mail to Kohl’s. So it boils down to, I if I don’t drive 250 miles in the middle of winter and spend $100 in gas to return a $30 item, my loss. Very disappointed in Sephora, will go to Ulta instead.  No nonsense returns.
