Birthday gifts gone, no samples, really dissapointed

I tried adding my birthday gift last week and all that was left was the Amika set. I have a very short buzz-cut so I gave it to someone with hair. I don't know how points were one of the rewards and they "ran out". I know it's a small thing, but it's not a good feeling to be left out due to a lack of hair.

There were also zero samples in the box. Not even substituted ones. I can't go to the physical store, so those sample cards are the only way I can test things out. I don't know why the samples are still on the checkout page at all if none are available.

I want to keep shopping here. It used to be my go-to store, but I've been buying much less here since the incentives started to disappear. I actually receive the incentives offered from other sites so I've been buying more of my products from brand sites. I really used to enjoy shopping on Sephora, but this was a disappointing experience
