Birthday gift

I chose the Bite Beauty haul as my birthday gift this month.  The Matte Creme Lip Crayon is a great product,  but the color makes me look like a corpse. I find a lot of the free samples or those I've received in my PLAY! box include these pink, light shades that NEVER look good on my pale skin.  Perhaps having a couple of color options for the bday gift would be an improvement.  At least I would be able to use the product instead of throwing it in my "will never use" makeup drawer.

I do like the color of the Amuse Bouche Lipstick; however, it came BROKEN , so that's another disappointment.  If you really want to say thank you to your customers with a gift, showing your gratitude for (in my case, YEARS of) loyalty to Sephora,  perhaps you could have color options & take the time to make sure the gifts are at least new and in usable condition.  

It's quite disappointing that my birthday gift is COMPLETELY useless. Not much of a sign of customer appreciation.  I'd rather get NOTHING than a thoughtless leftover of products you couldn't sell. 

I love Sephora,  and I am a very loyal customer & will continue to be. But please, if you're going to show customer appreciation,  you might put in a little effort to actually make us feel appreciated.
