Birthday gift missing item

I went to my local Sephora and picked up my birthday gift but when I came home & opened it I saw one of the items (lip gloss) was missing from the box!  That is what I was excited to try, I didn't care for the other item and was going to give it away anyways.  I won't have time to get back to the same store anytime soon, what should I do?
