Birthday gift may 2020

So I got an email that it was time to redeem my birthday gift. I am rouge and it said that the fourth gift (for rouge or vib) was the nars blush and lip crayon. It displays it in the email as well as the website. But when I try to add my gift I. The rewards section it only has the three options normally for beauty insiders. I have tried emailing Sephora customer service and first I got an auto robot email back which didn’t address my concern at all. I responded that I am looking to redeem the rouge bday gift and still haven’t heard back. It seems like it’s out of stock and they expect the May birthdays to redeem the general gift. I look forward to the gift and I want the rouge gift that was promised. Anyone else having this issue?

This is disappointing.  The Rouge program has taken so many perks away from us year after year. My birthday is in May and I was just thinking, “Well, at least I will get my Nars gift.  Of course, it’s not special for Rouge, you just need to be VIB but it’s something.”  I went to redeem it today and they are out. It’s a bummer. I understand that these are difficult times. I would have hoped that Sephora would at least offer us points or something instead of the Nars if they are sold out. They should really just get rid of the program because being a Rouge just points out to us again and again how little they care about their customers who spend the most money. It was so different when the program first started and they sent us RED cards and special gifts. I miss it.

I was so looking forward to the Nars Birthday gift as well.  None of the others interest me.    I hope they bring it back before the end of the month.

So Sephora, what's the replacement Rouge birthday gift now that the NARS gift is gone?

My apologies! The NARS option is no longer available and we have not received updates as to whether it will be restocked. Clients may redeem their birthday gift during their birthday month from the currently available options. I apologize for the trouble and I hope this helps to clarify!

The other options are the three available to everyone. When I reached rouge status it said I would have four options to choose from, including a special Vib/rouge option. So I guess that part was not really true. Pretty disappointing. 20% twice a year is not really worth it anymore. There must have been some discussion at Sephora about not having the fourth option of it became out of stock.

same, I have my birthday in May as well! Im hoping they would restock or come up with a new vib/rouge gift. We've already lost the perk of choosing points instead of a gift already.

And it was just confirmed to me that we have only the regular three options to choose from now. I don’t really understand that if it’s out of stock why there is not another VIB rouge option available 

 

so pretty much anyone whose birthday is in end of April, all of May and all of June will not get the fourth option. 

it’s nice to get something free, don’t get me wrong but to be promised this special VIB rouge option and then to not have ANY extra option available is poor service IMO. 

I assumed when it said “as supplies last” that if they ran out of one vib/rouge option that it would be replaced with another. 

pretty lame 😒

I agree, this is rather disappointing. This happened to me as well and it seems to me that if it's advertised as a differentiating benefit of being Rouge (vs just being the lowest tier), it should be offered to all Rouge members, not just those who have birthdays Jan-March.

The NARS gift set is no longer available, that’s why you can’t add it.
