Birthday Rewards Needs a Re Think

Hi there and Happy New Year to all reading this!

 

I wanted to start a new conversation regarding how the birthday rewards/gifts are managed since I haven't been able to chat with anyone on here.

As a December baby I look forward to my little gift at the end of the year. This year, I was unable to redeem my bday gift in stores after visiting 3 in my area. The stock was out - understandable with all the things happening this year but what I didn't understand was the online version for redeeming my birthday  gift. Once I was unable to do so in store I went online thinking this would be an easy process. The available gifts weren't my preferred choice so I opted for the points. However, the policy to have to purchase something in order for my points to be added to my account is absurd. I am asking for this option (of points) to be available on one's bday free of charge - same as if I was to go in store. As a new mother, staying at home I am just now getting around to writing this review/request for change this year. Appreciate all the eyes that see this! 💛
