Benefit Gimme Brow Gel sample in order

One of my most recent orders contained a sample of the recently recalled Benefit Gimme Brow Gel. Is there a reason why a product that has been recalled due to safety reasons was included in my order? I am disappointed and concerned to see that my order, and possibly orders that other customers have placed, may contain a sample of this potentially harmful product.
In addition, the order for which this sample was included consisted of a colourpop palette that arrived damaged.
Can a mod please contact me regarding these issues? Thank you.

Don't feel bad, I got it as well. I was very disappointed I received it, I just threw mine away! Luckily I prefer ABH!

That what I thought when I saw this sample in two of packages, I pretty sure that it's not safe to actually use it(

I got that sample too. Good thing it’s all dried up so can’t be used
