Hi everyone - I participated in a live chat insiders lab providing feedback this week along with a couple thousand other people - it was chaotic but at the same time kind of fun - I was just curious how it works with regards to when I get my sephora gift card for taking part and providing feedback? Has anyone here participated in a live chat before and how did you get compensated for attending? did you receive a promo code to apply via., email or it was credited to your profile or something?

I’m so glad I found this post! I attended the 9/7/22 live chat (my first focus group) and never received the eGift card. I reached out to the support in the insider lab site but nothing. 

I was surprised how chaotic and unorganized the experience was and am doubtful any of the feedback shared was useful. I have been super disappointed in Sephora lately and if I spent an hour of my family time after work for something they screw all of us over on by not compensating us as promised for our time, I cant see myself continuing to engage with them and will direct my consumer time and money elsewhere. Sokoglam uses Real ID that offers me a discount every time as a nurse! Not looking to bad these days!  Hope you get a response and please keep us posted!

Laurie, apparently I have reached the max amount of private messages to respond to your DM.

The event which I registered for, and received confirmation of registration specifically stated that there was a $20 Sephora eGift Card for participation - see below- this invitation came from the following email address: 

several hundred people were participating in the live chat so I am sure others have the same question as I do.

I've had the same issue with the live chat participation. I contacted the moderator, but so far no response. I've had other issues with the Beauty Insider Insights Lab as well, left messages for the moderator/support, but so far no reply to any issue.

I contacted the moderator as suggested and crickets so far….It was such a chaotic event hopefully they will honor the commitment we showed by sticking with it for the full hour and deliver on the promised return for our feedback
