Rouge members will start earning 1.5 points for every dollar spent and VIB members will start to earn 1.25 points for every dollar spent.  Insider members will continue to earn 1 point for every dollar.

Do points expire?

We encourage you to redeem your points often, so that you get to experience the full benefits of the Beauty Insider program including product, gifts, experiences and events. All unredeemed points expire when you have not engaged in point activity associated with your Beauty Bank (through purchase or redemption for Rewards or Birthday Gift) for 18 months or more. If you have questions regarding the date of your last point activity or your last purchase, you may email customerservice@sephora.com or call 1-877-SEPHORA (1-877-737-4672) for more information. In addition, points will automatically expire if your Membership is revoked or otherwise cancelled.

More Choice

What new choices do I have in the Beauty Insider program?

VIB and Rouge members are now eligible to choose between a Birthday Gift or 250 bonus points! All clients will also have more rewards to choose from in the Rewards Bazaar.

More Rewards

Full Size

How can I use my points to redeem full-size products?

Full-size products from our favorite brands are now available in the Rewards Bazaar. VIB and Rouge will have access to redeem their points for these products while supplies last.

Rouge Reward:

What is a Rouge Reward and who can use one?

A Rouge Reward is a non-transferable $100 reward available to Rouge members in exchange for redemption of 2,500 Beauty Insider points, while supplies last on a first-come-first-served basis. A $100 Rouge Reward then can be used online or in store for the purchase of merchandise only. Merchandise does not include e-gift cards, gift cards, a FLASH Shipping subscription, a Play! Subscription, taxes or shipping.  Employees of Sephora, Sephora inside JCPenney, and JCPenney are not eligible to redeem points for Rouge Rewards. Rouge Rewards expire 90 calendar days after the email confirmation date (details below).

How do I redeem a Rouge Reward?

The $100 Rouge Reward will be available in the Rewards Bazaar every Tuesday and Thursday in limited quantities while supplies last. Rewards go live at 9am Pacific Time. Rouge Reward may sell out but more will become available each Tuesday and Thursday at 9am Pacific Time.

Where and how can I use my Rouge Reward?

The Rouge Reward can be redeemed online and at Sephora stores in the US and Canada for the purchase of merchandise only and can only be redeemed in the country where the Rouge Reward was purchased. A Rouge Reward cannot be used in Puerto Rico stores, at Sephora inside JCPenney stores or at jcpenney.com.

Can I use my Rouge Reward in multiple transactions?

The Rouge Reward can only be redeemed once. The full $100 amount must be used in a single transaction; any remaining value will not be reimbursed.

How quickly will I receive and be able to use my Rouge Reward after I redeem points for it?

After you redeem points for a Rouge Reward in the Rewards Bazaar, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours that will provide a link to generate a code and instructions on how to use the code to purchase merchandise. The code, once received via the link, is immediately available for use. The code can be viewed multiple times from the same confirmation email, but the code will expire after 90 days from the date of the email.

Can I use my Rouge Reward in conjunction with promotional discounts or codes?

A Rouge Reward cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional discounts or codes.

Can my Rouge Reward Expire?

Yes.  The Rouge Reward code expires 90 days after the date of the confirmation email containing the link used to generate the code.  If the $100 value is not used during this period it will be forfeited.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

And the fact that you limit rewards by way of some arcane arrive early and limited supply  model to the very people who have spend a lot of their disposable income at your business is deplorable.

RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

The whole 100 dollar reward expiring is wrong.

Re: RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Hi @LovelyDaisy,

We appreciate your feedback. Rouge Rewards are just that - rewards! We want  you to treat yourself to something special. After all, there's nothing worse than a forgotten gift!  We are going to continue to evolve Beauty Insider over time, and we'll make sure your feedback is heard.

Best,

Steph

I agree 100%. A gift card should never expire. in most st...

I agree 100%. A gift card should never expire. in most states, that is illegal. I get this is a "reward card", but the point of it is to reward the customer with $100, not a way to potentially get out of having to reward a customer! Manny companies do this in HOPES the customer forgets, etc.. I hate to compare, but Ulta's program seems more fair.

Re: I agree 100%. A gift card should never expire. in most st...

I agree. Sephora has really made some horrible changes, and I think I will be taking my business over to Ulta. While I don't care much for their store or employees, they have better rewards, and I can always shop online. Don't forget, you can buy directly from your favorite brand's website, and if you sign up for their email lists, you can get discounts, sometimes even better than 20%. The only reason to go to Sephora anymore is to swatch palettes, then I can go order them online from the brand. I don't know what happened, but I am severely disappointed.

Re: I agree 100%. A gift card should never expire. in most st...

Agreed. It's really shady to me considering how much money Rouge spend,so far this so Called upgrade is disappointing. The reward gift card should not expire it will already be difficult if this reward will be limited to get this whole reward gift cart thing the way they are doing this just tells a lot about how "considerate" they are for the customers. Just give it or don't give the reward stop dangling in or faces. I bet they are hopping that people will forget. This is ridiculous.

RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

So the Rogue 100 dollar reward cannot be used in Puerto Rico? Why? Ridiculous.

Re: RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Hi @LovelyDaisy,

I'm so sorry that the Rouge Reward can't be used in stores in Puerto Rico! I will send the information you've provided to the appropriate department.

Rest assured, you're able to redeem the Reward and use it on our US site. 🙂

Best Regards,

❤️ Raquel

Re: RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Still it’s wrong there’s only one Sephora store in PR and Sephora customers they won’t be able to use it in store. I don’t understand why theres a need to exclude them when it will be available in the US and Canada.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Like many others, I’m concerned about redeeming points in the rewards bizarre. I have crazy anxiety after spending, like maybe 6 months, stalking the bazaar every Tuesday and Thursday trying to redeem ANY of my points for a higher value item. Finally, I was able to score a perfume for 1500 points- that ultimately I hate but I grabbed it just because I figured I’d use the bulk of my points and wouldn’t have to do the bazaar again. It makes me antsy to think that the new incentives for rogue might just throw me back into the bazaar from hell! Can you please clarify?

Are their going to be an increased number of rewards available as well as higher valued rewards? Especially for the Canadian ladies!!! They always seem to have just a handful of items compared to the US- I know their population is lower but how can they only get 5 sets of a reward when the US has like 250 sets of the same reward!! Please give us some insight BT team, I think a lot of inquiring minds are worried and would like to know!!

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Hi @mermaid805,

I'm very sorry to hear this and appreciate you taking the time to provide us this information. I understand how you feel and I apologize about your experiences when previously redeeming Rewards from our Rewards Bazaar.

I can assure you that there are good things coming! This is the first step in a multi-year journey, we will keep bringing you more of what you want! Please feel free to send me or any other Mod a private message if you need assistance with anything. Thank you. 🙂

Best Regards,

❤️ Raquel

RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

This still sounds awful as you know the gift cards will be gone in the blink of an eye like the usual good rewards. Make your rewards like ulta and people would like you a whole lot more sephora.

Re: RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

I agree. I will be trying to get Diamond status at Ulta this year, and Sephora can take a hike.

RE: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Totally agree with you.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Does status still get reset annually as well as points?

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Hi @Anonymous,

Clients' year to date spend still resets at the end of each calendar year and points will only expire after 18 months of account inactivity. I hope this helps!

Best,

Steph

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

@StephanieSBT @quspork

Okay great, thank you both!

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

@Anonymous  I haven't seen anything about the change in annual status renewal yet, so I assume that will stay the same, but your points don't reset. You can continue to accrue as long as you like, as long as you keep your account active.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Wow, so I was excited to think that the $100 reward for 2,500 points was going to be easier for people to access. But still limited quantities too. I'm very hesitant to see what to expect. It's been SO difficult to access rewards, I don't know if it'll be any better. We'll wait and see I guess. I was hoping it'd be more similar to Ulta's.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

Yup! It's ridiculous that we have to battle to pretty much to win the $100 reward! I wish we could just redeem the 2500 points at our convenience, and also that we didn't have restrictions on it, like not being able to use a coupon with it, etc.. I spend so much money over $1000 a year, and this is still not a reward that's worth my while. I still believe ULTA has the best rewards program, they offer their different tier levels different points depending on your level, VERY often they offer 3x, 5x, or even 10x the points on purchases. You can redeem your points at your convenience, and the higher the points the more money you get! 2000 points is $125 dollars on ANYTHING and without any RESTRICTIONS, you can combine it with coupons and offers. I really hope Sephora can step up their game better than this, yes its an improvement but not a great one. I am not happy with the fact that I have to battle to redeem my points for the $100 reward.

Re: Beauty Insider Program Updates FAQS

I don't even know if I care to try to redeem my points at this point. They seem pretty worthless, if I can't redeem them for what I want. I don't have the time or the patience to try my luck in the Rewards Bizarre.
