Beauty Insider Points GONE

I recently made a purchase post-pandemic and all of my beauty insider points are gone! I've been saving for years and never received any warning that they were going to expire. Not a good move Sephora...I wasn't wearing much makeup these past couple years and then you guys go and do this to your loyal customers. I didn't receive an email or anything stating that this was going to happen. I'm SO disappointed.

Is this something you could also help me with? I recently logged in to my account for some Christmas shopping. To my surprise, I noticed that all of my points had expired during the pandemic.

 

I never received any notifications regarding upcoming points expiration. (I also don't remember getting any emails regarding the policy change) The rewards system has played a large part in my decision to continue purchasing at Sephora, and all my points disappearing would be a major disappointment.

 

(On a separate note, I'm also a little confused at my account history. Many of my previous purchases / birthday gift redemptions - both online and in person - don't appear.)

@nikileep   I’m  sorry this happened to you.  No one likes losing something even if it is in the terms of agreement.  It’s just a bad feeling:(

 

This is from the FAQ on Sephoras website and is part of the Sephora Beauty Insider terms of agreement.  Beauty Insider Points have expired now for a minimum of five years (though I’m unsure as to the exact date point expiration was implemented).  
Sephora points expire if there has  been no activity on an Insider account in 12 months.  Picking up the free birthday gift is all that’s required to reset an account so no purchase is required to retain points on an account.
