Beauty Insider Point Compensation?

Hello, I have recently made a purchase online and I received an email that the promo code that I entered was out of stock. I was kind of sad because it's part of the Sephora shopping experience on using these promo code for deluxe samples. I called Sephora customer service to see if it's possible for them to help me add in a different promo code, but the rep said they couldn't but can compensate by adding 200 beauty insider points onto my account instead. Since something is better than nothing, so I ask her to please so do. It's already been a day, so I was wondering when will my account reflects the added compensated points. Thanks!
