How much is a donation from a Charity Reward? 

There are three Charity Reward options: 

• 500 points for a $10 donation

• 1,000 points for a $20 donation

• 1,500 points for a $30 donation

Is the donation tax deductible? 

Please consult with your tax advisor. Sephora will observe all tax laws related to this program. 

Does 100% of the donation go to the charity? 

Yes, 100% of the donation goes to the specified charity partner.  

What is Tides? 

Sometimes it is challenging for small nonprofits to receive a large donation directly from a large corporation. The Tides Foundation is a philanthropic partner of Sephora and helps distribute donations from Sephora to non-profit organizations. Tides helps small non-profits access the same support as larger organizations and works with organizations like Sephora to direct funding and donations to nonprofits. To learn more about Sephora’s partnership with Tides please visit https://www.sephorastands.com/giving/. 

Can Canadian residents redeem a charity reward?

Charity Rewards are available in both the US and Canadian Rewards Bazaars.

Will I receive an email confirmation of the donation? 

You will receive an order confirmation email showing your redeemed reward, but you will not receive a separate email detailing the Charity Reward. If you would like to confirm that your reward was redeemed, please check your Rewards Activity on your BI Snapshot or contact our Client Service team: https://www.sephora.com/beauty/customer-service 

How many times can I redeem for a Charity Reward? 

Charity Rewards can be redeemed as many times as you are able, based on the number of points in your Beauty Insider account. As with all other Rewards Bazaar offerings, all rewards above 750 points do not require a purchase.  

Do I have to make a purchase to be able to redeem a Charity Reward? 

For the 500-point reward you must make a purchase, the option to redeem without a purchase is not currently enabled on our site. We are working to fix this issue. In the meantime, if you would like to redeem this reward without making a purchase, please contact our Client Services team who can provide support to process without purchase.  We thank everyone for their patience while we work through this issue. 

You can redeem the 1,000-point and 1,500-point rewards without a purchase. 

Are Charity Rewards offered in-store? 

Charity Rewards are only available online in the Rewards Bazaar. 

Does Sephora match the donation of my Charity Reward? 

Currently Sephora does not match the donation from Charity Rewards. However, Sephora has separately donated $1M+ to organizations that support our communities and promote inclusion and diversity.
