Bazaar a scam?

For the second week in a row I successfully added a reward from the bazaar to my account. I waited for exactly 9 am pt and, like I said, successfully added the reward I wanted. For the second time Sephora REMOVED the reward from my cart!! Last week I wrote to customer service explaining what happened and they didn’t offer a reason why this happened! It seems like the bazaar is a scam or rigged. I don’t get it! They even deducted the points for the reward but then removed the reward and 

put my points back. All of this happened within 2 minutes! It’s not like I waited half an hour to check out. Very frustrating!

Same experience here.  Pointed deducted, order confirmed 8/28.   I logged into Sephora today to realize that they had quietly refunded my points, no email notification this happened either.  The 4000 pt perk was available on the website even today 9/1, I tried to redeem again, and again it confirmed, email received and then it was quietly cancelled.  I called CS and they even explained there were 10 still in the system, tried to redeemed via the CS associate and same result!  Super frustrating!   Meanwhile, their "NEW" 5000 perk already said "out of stock".  So which is it?  The system is slow (read: FAILED) to update the shortage on the 4000 perk but fast to update the 5000 perk shortage?  Does not make sense from this end.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback with us about your Rewards Bazaar experience. I am sorry that this reward went out of stock and I understand this can be frustrating. Generally, higher point rewards are more limited and I will share your feedback with our rewards teams. New rewards will be released on Tuesdays and Thursdays around 9 a.m. PST, and I hope that you are able to redeem in the near future!

This is pretty much the reply I got last week from customer service. I would like to know why it was removed from my cart? Within 30 seconds Sephora removed it from my cart without an explanation. I would understand if it was sold out, but it wasn’t because I successfully added it to my cart at 9am!
