Bad store experience

I recently had a very bad experience at Sephora that made me doubt going to this store again. I live in Edmonton, Canada and I went to Sephora store in Southgate mall. 

I like Sephora and usually when I go there I spend a lot of time at the store looking at every new product. This last time a guy kept following me around continuously. He followed me wherever I went until I really started freaking out! He kept passing by me 100 times as if he was doing it on purpose. I felt  super uncomfortable and thought he might be their floor watch. I talked to the a person on the floor and told them this guy kept following me in a very obvious manner. She said he is the security and they cannot tell him anything! So I asked to talk to a manager. She kept me waiting for a while and then when she came out the  back of the store and I explained the situation, she just said  the guy is a security and he is hired by a  third party and  again they could not tell him  anything! She apologized once and she did not even look sorry, just a fake apology. I left the store feeling insulted and will not be back to this Sephora store again.

This happened to me at Shoppers Drug Mart. I was so offended. I confronted her about it and she pretended like she didn’t know what I was talking about. They have a tall stack of photos of people that can’t go to that store anymore. They have to find a loss prevention strategy that doesn’t alienate their law abiding customers.
