To redeem the birthday gift online, a merchandise purchase is needed. You should be able to add the birthday gift to your basket from your Beauty Insider Summary page > https://www.sephora.com/profile/BeautyInsider or from your checkout screen. No purchase is needed if you redeem the birthday gift in store, and you can simply provide your account information at the cashwrap. Thank you!

That's correct, IO890! You should be able to provide your registered email address and the store associate can provide your gift.
