Are returns by mail no longer accepted???

I recently read somewhere that Sephora is no longer accepting returns by mail and this is very shocking to hear as I JUST returned a product through Canada post less than 2 weeks ago. I have not yet received the refund back to my credit card, but to be fair, it hasn’t even been 10 business days yet (still, taking up to 30 days is the maximum and that’s a long time…) Anyways, what does this mean??? Will I just not get refunded anymore???

If it really comes to an issue with refunding to the original payment method, I would still take store credit because anything is better than nothing. But I’m just wondering about my current return as it has been received for over a week now now and I did not receive an email like others have that explicitly say that my order cannot be refunded—so I’m thinking it should be fine???

Regardless, this is all still very frustrating that it’s taking so long, and even the Sephora employees I’ve spoken to in-store have agreed on that.
