Are You Missing Items from the ReadyToJet Promo?

Hello Insiders!

Are you missing items from your ReadyToJet promo sample pack? I know that I am.

I‘ve seen this issue mentioned in other threads, but I am making a dedicated thread to help organize our experiences with this promo/responses from customer support to help out! 😄

 

-What is this READYTOJET Kit?-

The ReadyToJet promotion allows qualifying customers with qualifying orders to select one of two available sample packs. Qualifying orders had to be $50.00 or more in the US, making it obviously pricier than the $25.00 or $35.00 buy ins.

 

-What comes in the kit?-

 ReadyToJet promo showed pre-made kits with specific items. I imagined that Sephora had a certain number of complete kits available and that complete kits would be delivered as supplies lasted.

 

-So....What’s the Issue?-

Looking at other posts as well as my own situation it seems as though kits are being made up with whatever items are available, and incomplete kits are being sent to customers rather than the kits as advertised.

 

Considering the $50.00 buy-in condition to add the kit to your cart and the photos of the kits showing specific items, I believe it is reasonable to expect all items to arrive in the kit.

 

-But aren’t samples first come,first serve?-

The free samples that we can pick out at check out have often been swapped out in my order. I’m guessing that’s because the item I selected ran out. This situation is different.

 

In this situation a customer had to meet a purchase threshold and select one of two kits with specific items. While the kit was free with purchase, customers had to use a promo code and spend a certain amount to qualify. (Unlike the “free with any purchase” samples at checkout which do not require a code or a minimum spend requirement ) 

 

 -What next?-

If an admin sees this please let those of us that did not receive our full kits know how to get the missing items.

-Personal Example-

 

I made four qualifying orders and used the promo “ReadyToJet” in order to get the samples package with my orders.

 

So far (as of 10/27/2018) two have arrived.

 

The first kit was the “Up in the Air Essentials Kit” which is missing both the Belif sample and the Dr.Jart sample.  

 

The second kit was the “Daring Destination Kit” which is missing the Fresh soy cleanser and the Glow Recipe watermelon sleeping mask.

 

While I’m still waiting for the other two kits to arrive with my orders, I am already missing four items from the kits. 😞

Did you get some sort of explanation or compensation for the missing items?

My ReadyToJet promo sample pack was missing the Watermelon mask and Mascara! I 100% agree with you that the free samples being substituted is understandable, an offer  that applies to a specific price threshold should not.
