Am I able to return/exchange dyson with no receipt?

I received a Dyson Corrale Hair Straightener as a gift for my birthday. I know that it’s from Sephora, but didn’t receive a gift receipt or anything. The person that purchased it isn’t sure where their copy is.

I’m wondering if I’m able to return/exchange it so that I’m able to get the color that I want? It’s never been used, I just want the color that matches my other Dyson products..

Proof of the purchase would be required for a return or exchange. If they purchased this item in a Sephora store, the store may be able to verify the purchase with their phone number or email address. Alternatively if they ordered it online, we can try to look up the order with their email or phone number.
