Afterpay not work with sephora sale?

Literally any time I try to place an order with afterpay the order gets "Unsuccessful Authorization".  I've updated my billing address, have plenty of funds on my Afterpay account and the card that afterpay is charging. I am not sure what the issue is but I think it does not like me using the Sephora sale 15% promocode with Afterpay. Anyone else run into this issue?

 Is there anyway around this? I want to purchase over $400 worth of products during the sephora sale using the 20% off code this coming April. Can I use Afterpay as well to split my payments up? I have heard afterpay will not work during the sale.

@AliPBoston You should be able to use Afterpay during the sale if you choose to do so.
