Afterpay Refund Issue

I placed an order with Sephora and brought items to be returned to the store today. At the end of my return, the cashier refunded my debit card (the same one on my Afterpay account) The refund wasn’t reflected on Afterpay so I am still being charged the full amount. Does anyone know if Sephora will send Afterpay the information about my return? Will this somehow work itself out?

@KrSampson26 Sorry for the confusion! The store is unable to refund your Afterpay account, so they process the refund to a credit or debit card of your choice. This refund issued to your debit card should be used to make the remaining payments to Afterpay.

Thanks for your response! Does Sephora send Afterpay information on what I've returned so my balance can be adjusted accordingly?

@KrSampson26  The refund you received will not be applied to your Afterpay account and you must continue to make payments to Afterpay per the original agreement.
