Account locked

My account this morning had 11,400 points however this afternoon it said I only had 250. I called customer service and they said they could still see the points on my account. I just tried signing in and it says my account has been locked due to security reasons. Is this because someone made an unauthorized purchase that was declined yesterday. Please help! What is going on with my account
