Account hacked

Someone hacked my Sephora account, changed the email address associated with it, and used 10,000 points to redeem 4 $100 gift cards!!! I’m so incredibly upset by this! I called customer service and a nice rep initiated an investigation but apparently it’ll take 2 or more weeks to get this resolved. I’m really worried that I won’t get my points back. Has anyone had a similar experience?
