A struggle from start to finish

So I have never had any issues with Sephora until this recent order and it has been such a nightmare that I am very much considering taking my business to Ulta...


It all started when I decided to make a purchase during the "$20 off" sale. I know things can be crazy with sales, I get it. Yet this has been beyond crazy.


I really wanted the products quickly so I actually paid for two-day shipping since the disclaimer claimed it would be unaffected by the rush.....3 days later my products still have not shipped and I get an email claiming there will be an even longer delay. How is that unaffected???


Because of the delay in shipping I actually needed to change my shipping address. I called customer service and everything seemed fixed, until my order shipped today to the wrong address....


I WISH that was it, but no. After I placed my order I noticed one of the items in my cart went out of stock. This worried me so I contacted Sephora and the representative assured me that the inventory system considers when you place the order and that I should receive all my items. Guess who got an email that my ordered was modified because of an out of stock item? I only considered buying it in the first place because of the sale and now I'm stuck (maybe) re-buying it later for full price.


Saying that I'm disappointed it an understatement.
