A message to Sephora

I’m not certain where to post this, but would like to suggest that Sephora make an effort to hire some skilled people over 50 for their teams. I’ve been an Aesthetician/rouge for many years, but I occasionally have questions, appreciate an opinion on shade choices,or generally am curious about what’s new. I’m not sure why, but it is really difficult to find help at Sephora for the most part. I discussed this recently with friends, who have had the same experience and just shop elsewhere. 

I visited this week- hoping to buy Violette FR, a dark,cool brown pen liner, and my BD gift. Absolutely zero approaches. I finally asked a visiting MU artist who said V. was sold out  and showed me Fenty for liner, which is great, but warm. I left empty handed.


Time to realize that lots of women over 50 are interested in healthy aging- great looking skin/hair, enhancing their best features and blurring their worst. We know that good makeup is our friend and have far more disposable income than we did earlier. Sephora is missing an opportunity…
