6000+ Points Deleted

Over 6,000 points are gone from my account. They were “adjusted” by customer support. Why is this even a thing? Can I at least get an email sent BEFORE this happens? I often shop in-store and don't use my rewards account. Sorry, this is just so frustrating that years of hoarded points get deleted.

Re: 6000+ Points Deleted

They did this to me too.

Absolutely no warning. Not my fault my favorite products keep getting dropped by sephora.

I'm so over this company and will never shop here again.

Re: 6000+ Points Deleted

@fabrunette  Points don’t expire as long as you have made a purchase or redeemed a reward or free birthday gift within the last year.  It looks like your private messages are currently turned off. Please send me a private message with your registered email address or you can contact Sephora privately through Facebook, X or Instagram.

Re: 6000+ Points Deleted

I also found that my points have disappeared! This is absolutely frustrating! I always save up my points for something worthwhile and had over 2500 points. The reward system is what was keeping me buying from Sephora now that I don’t have an incentive anymore, I will probably shop at Ulta or directly from the brands website.

Re: 6000+ Points Deleted

Hi @kadii21,

For all clients, points will expire if the account is inactive for 12 months or more. To keep the account active, you must make a purchase, redeem a reward, or the birthday gift within a year. I'll check on this and I'll send you a message.

Best,

Laurie

@sephorassbest Points don’t expire as long as you have made a purchase or redeemed a reward or free birthday gift within the last year. I will send you a PM for more information.

Re: 6000+ Points Deleted

@sephorassbest @Your points expire if you don’t use them throughout the year. It is stated in their terms and agreement.
