2024 Holiday Return Policy

I’m very disappointed with Sephora’s holiday return policy. I received my order on December 27th, which included a Dyson Airwrap and a damaged SOS spray (leaking).  My daughter no longer wanted the Dyson Airwrap as a Christmas gift. I was unable to return the items to a Sephora inside Kohl’s, so yesterday I drove over 100 miles to return them at a Sephora store located in a shopping center where I also needed to return an online order to Bloomingdale’s. (I live in a rural area).  I learned that since it was 30 days from the online purchase date (which was a few days before Christmas), I could only receive store credit ($711.19) despite returning the items within 30 days of receiving the order. I never thought to check the return policy, as discount stores usually only have a 30-day return window for a refund. As a result, I will no longer purchase online from Sephora. Additionally, the Sephora stores within Kohl’s do not offer the same selection as standalone stores. I am very disappointed in Sephora.

@MPH65 I'm so sorry for the confusion with our return policy! If you are not near one of our freestanding locations, items can also be returned to us by mail within the return time frame using a prepaid merchandise return label. I will share your feedback with the appropriate department for future consideration.
