20% off code not working

i received a 20% off discount code in the mail and it won’t let me use it. it goes from the 6th to the 16th but every time i put in the code it says that it’s for select insiders only and that it must be for another sephora account but i only have one sephora account.

Can you tell me how to turn on private messaging? When I reached out to customer service their solution is to order and they’d reimburse. Doesn’t sound like an acceptable solution.
