20% off code I got in the mail isn’t working for 3/1/24-3/11/24

I received a 20% off coupon through the mail that’s valid from March 1st 2024 to March 11th 2024 but when I enter the code, it says it’s available for certain BI members only. Why would I get one if I’m not a “certain BI member” even though I have VIB status.
