20% fragrance sale

• I purchased a full size fragrance today and the sales clerk told me I wasn't eligible for the 20% off. Why is that?

@michellelnorton Did they provide a reason? Chanel, mini fragrances, fragrance sets and Rare Beauty, Salt & Stone, Sol De Janeiro, Moroccan Oil, and Ouai body mists are excluded from this promotion.

Sure said it was because my sephora account was too new. I just got my account on Friday.
