2 In progress,1 partial ship, all refunded...?

I put in three separate orders, one on April 19, the other two April 20. They have all said in progress since then. I was refunded the full amounts for all three orders, without any email notification from sephora. My second order now says partial shipment, and I am only recieving one of the six things I was supposed to receive in the box. What I want to know is, how often is my account going to be charged now for these orders as items come in randomly? Why wouldn't sephora just cancel the entire order instead of going through the inconvenience of leaving my order in limbo only to refund money to my account, that they will then try to pull back out as items ship? Having my acc dinged repeatedly for single items that I paid for all at once almost two weeks ago is a huge annoyance. Some of the items I ordered are literally IN STOCK and have been for days, why haven't those orders shipped? I'm waiting on 8 items between all three orders, I feel like I probably won't get the samples now either, im glad i didn't waste rewards points with these orders...I get that everything is crazy because of covid19, but I wish there was more notification about what's happening with orders.

Re: 2 In progress,1 partial ship, all refunded...?

Hello @TayMercedes, I apologize for the confusion.  When you place an order, the initial authorization will drop from your account in 1-7 business days and the order will be charged to your account once it ships.  In order to make sure you receive everything that you ordered, we may need to have other distribution centers help out and send items to you if they're not all available at one center.  Since this happens to be the case, you will be charged when each order has shipped.  An item may show to be in stock, but due to safeguards in place to protect our distribution center employees, please expect processing delays with your order.  You'll receive everything you ordered, it may just take a little bit longer due to the current situation.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Regards,

Kevin
