2-3 yr old EXPIRED foundation received twice

I have now twice received expired Tarte rainforest sea water foundation. It expired in November 2018 which means the bottle is at least 2-3 years old because it has a shelf life prior to expiring. I contacted customer service thinking this was a fluke and they sent me a replacement. The replacement is ALSO expired and from the same batch- 11/2018 and it’s their old bottle design. Sephora has an entire batch theyre knowingly sending out that’s expired. Why is 2 to 3 YEAR old makeup still around and being sent to customers. How old is the skincare I’m buying and assuming to be new? Bc not all items have expirations so I can’t tell how old they are. This is very disappointing. Especially after the expired makeup issue a few months ago and seeing their holiday kits from a year ago like eye candy and mini lip stains being sold recently as if they’re new. I shop extensively at Sephora and now I am concerned I am receiving expired products and wasting my money entirely.

I also purchased this foundation in July  noticed that it expired in 2 months. I have returned the foundation yesterday and  didn't remember to look at the expiration date until I got home and then noticed it expired December 2019. This is not cool to sell expired or near expiring  products.

Thanks for your reply. It should not make a difference but I purchased them in a store.
