Every tuesday and thursday I get into the bazaar promptly at 9am pst to try and claim the $100 rouge reward. the first time I ever did this it was really easy; now, it's impossible. Lately, the cash for points rewards don't even show up at the same time as all the other rewards, so you have to sit there and refresh forever. Today I was refreshing when the $100 reward came at around 9:08 pst, which is ridiculous to begin with, but I quickly added it to my cart went to check out and it was already sold out less than thirty seconds later. Sephora always tells us if we just log on at the promised time it will be there but that is NEVER the case for me. I'm getting tired of playing the waiting game and then competing with other customers for something that SHOULD be a given. If it isn't going to be loaded on at 9am pst with everything else, how is that even fair? and the new inclusion of the 25 and 50 rewards is also frustrating. I feel like this is me just shouting into the void because expecting sephora to change is ridiculous, but I'm tired of sephora valuing rouge customers in name only.
just had it in my cart and raced to try and check out and already it didnt let me check out.. this is unacceptable, if I waste my money In Sephora for my products and my needs and earn these points wasting my money on them then they should supply for the demand they are asking for. this is ridiculous, Im going to start redeeming my points slowly and spending my money at ultra where I can actually redeem my points for cash and get what I need. better sales and better reward system. Sephora is ridiculous.
This just happened to me today. Exact same thing! At 9:05 it show up, it is in my cart and I am checking out less than 2 seconds later and it is out of stock! So mad. I call customer service and someone who speaks broken English tells me to try again next time. That is it! I am really hating Sephora lately.
I’ve been trying to get the $100 reward for months now. Every single Tuesday and Thursday I get on at 11:58 and keep hitting refresh over and over. I always am able to get it in my cart and then hit check out but as soon as I go to complete my order it backs out completely. I shouldn’t be allowed to get that far if it’s going to do that. You’re telling me that you guys can’t just give out a couple more of these rewards. I literally spend like $3000+ a year and this is how we are treated. What’s the point of having a reward system if it’s gonna suck. I don’t want a 30 little samples. I’m starting to think they only give like 1 $100 reward each time. No matter what I do I can’t get one. I’ve tried using the app and the website. Both don’t work.
This past week Tuesday and Thurs, released around 9:04 am and 9:05 am. Tuesday I was able to add to my cart but literally sold out within 1-2 seconds. Thursday, "add to basket" button was available, but I couldn't click it. 1 second later when you try to click to add to basket, it says that the item you're trying to add is sold out. The frustration is real. This is getting pretty ridiculous.

This does not help, nor gets to the root cause of the problem. We are wanting actual change. I, myself, have gone to Customer Service several times with the same issues, and each time they say my feedback will be passed along. These scripted responses have to stop, and something needs to change. Will we ever hear back about solutions from our complaints? Integrity, please, otherwise loyal customers will be leaving in flocks.
For about the tenth time, I had the reward in my cart and pressed place order only to be notified it sold out in the time it took me to press that button - 2 seconds? This is just ridiculous. I have almost enough points saved up now for two $100 rewards! I genuinely hope things change or at the very least they make the points cost for two $50 or 4 $25 rewards equal to 2500 points. That they are not right now is an even bigger scam. Usually sephora has very good customer service but this has been a huge sticking point for me.
I have also been trying for several weeks and am never able to get the $100 reward. I finally got sick of waiting and wanted to just cash out my points (will start shopping elsewhere as soon as this goes through), so I bought two $25 rewards. I get the activation email, and lo and behold, the link sends me to an entirely blank page. Called customer service who said I should get another email...by Wednesday or Thursday.
This is so terrible, Sephora. It really feels like a scam and I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Meg, you are not shouting into the void! Check out all the other complaints under the title $100 Rouge Reward. It’s a Bait and Switch scheme. Nothing is going to happen unless folks get together and file a formal complaint.

Totally a scam, they better do something, because there is absolutely no benefit for shopping at sephora when there are tons of other stores to get makeup, and they offer really good sales, besides the websites from the makeup brands that give discounts often. No way to get these rewards now. I would like to hear from ONE person who is able to get their hands on a 100$ reward.
