$100 (2,500 points) not refunded!

 

 Just to give you a context, I exchanged my 2,500 points to get the $100. I purchased a YSL perfume on Sephora.com and as soon as I checked out I realized that it’s 25% off on YSLBeauty so obviously I returned the item right away when I got it, box unopened and the seal is unbroken. I got refunded for $60.64 on my visa which is the difference between the item and $100(from $2,500 points) thinking I’ll get my $100 back as well.

I asked the rep Jessica until when can I use my $100 then she told me I didn’t get anything back. So that means my 2,500 points or $100 went to waste. What kind of policy is that? If you can’t return my points or money then you should’ve given me the item back because if I was informed or if I just knew that I’m not gonna get my money back then obviously I won’t return the item. It’s better to charge me the $60.64 difference than having no perfume and no $100. You all know how much was spent to get that reward so you know I won’t throw away my $100 or 2,500!

 

Also, the rep Jessica said I didn’t spend $160 cause I got $100 off. Seriously? That $100 rewards is from the points that I earned with MY money so you can’t say I didn’t spend that money. Sephora didn’t give it to me for free as well so yeah, I spent my money. She didn’t answer then ended the conversation. Bad customer service.

Hi @keytie I'm sorry to hear about this. Per our Terms and Conditions, items ordered online at sephora.com or sephora.ca with a Rouge Reward can be returned by mail. The pro-rated amount paid will be refunded, but the redeemed Rouge Reward will not be reinstated to your Beauty Insider account. The Rouge Reward will be forfeited.
