1 Day Flash Shipping

EDIT: Turns out the system just didn't update the delivery status properly. It got delivered on Sunday evening so we're good 🙂

I am thoroughly confused on Sephora and their 1 day flash shipping. On Friday the 20th I placed my order in the early morning and I got a confirmation mid afternoon that my order had shipped. I just checked the status of my delivery to see the estimated delivery date is Tuesday the 24th, this has got to be a mistake, right?

I wasn't expecting it to be delivered today but technically 1 day shipping would mean if it goes out on Friday it should be here on Saturday. So for it not to be delivered on Monday but Tuesday means I paid extra $$ while normally under the 2 day flash shipping I have it would have been here on Tuesday anyway. 

Has anyone experienced this before or am I just unlucky? I'd like to know for future purchases if it can be worth the money to choose 1 day flash shipping after all.
