Deva curl replacement

With all the controversy currently surrounding deva curl I'm looking for replacement product recommendations.

I will say that I don't believe I've had any issues aside from some scalp itchiness, but that could honestly just be Canadian winter related. I've never used any of their shampoo or conditioner lines as the whole "no-poo" thing just was not for me. The only product of theirs I used was the Styling cream and Light defining gel so I'm looking for something along those lines.

I'm mixed and have 3B longish (just past my shoulders) hair that tends towards being frizzy. My hair gets weighed down easily so a light hold  defining cream to help keep a bit of moisture is preferred.

@Georgie06 I've also transitioned away from Deva, and so far I'm liking Ouidad as a replacement. I'm obsessed with OUIDAD - Advanced Climate Control® Heat & Humidity Gel, but since you're in the market for a cream, you might like the Ouidad VitalCurl+ Define & Shine Gel-Cream (sold at Ulta). While I'm not yet convinced that it's my Holy Grail one-and-done product, I like that it provides the moisture of a cream without weighing it down, as well as the hold of a gel without the crunchiness. 

There's a great thread that a few of us curly/wavy girls post in called "Ride the WAVE with me." We're a supportive bunch, and I'm sure you could get additional product suggestions there. Good luck!
